Prova for Axis partners
Workplace-safety evidence on the Axis cameras you already sell — a new line on every install, not another detector.
The problem
Your customers already run Axis cameras and AXIS Object Analytics. When the HSE lead or an ISO auditor asks what happened in a restricted zone last quarter, the clip and the alert log show it. Prova adds what they need next: a signed, versioned incident they can defend — with what the camera could see and, where recorded, how far its clock was off.
How it works
Prova is a signed ACAP on the camera. AXIS Object Analytics reports people and vehicles; your zones and rules fire on the device; each incident is signed there; the registry keeps every record tamper-evident and issues an ISO-mapped audit pack. No second box on the network. No detection licence from us. Prova records and classifies for audit. It does not warn, slow or stop any vehicle, and it is not a safety component.
Three benefits
- Signed on the camera. Ed25519 on the device; rule and zone versions written into the record, so a zone edited today never rewrites last month.
- Video stays on site. One still per incident, anonymised on the camera by the site’s policy — or none. The registry keeps the record, its hash and that still.
- Fits the install you already sold. Prova sits under AOA and listens to partner ACAPs by event topic — proven end to end with AXIS Image Health Analytics, and signing AXIS Motion Guard alerts on the camera. You sell cameras and zones; we deliver a pack the auditor can open. It works beside the site’s video management system, never instead of it.

Signed Video makes the footage verifiable; Prova makes the safety record verifiable — which rule fired, where, when and under which version. Prova raises an event the site’s own recording rules can use, so the clip stays in the site’s system, with Signed Video where the site uses it. The camera detects. Prova makes the event verifiable.
